Charger Mounting


Chargers must be located with the following considerations in mind:

  • Use care when supporting more than one charger on a shelf or other structure.
  • Chargers are heavy (9 lb/4 kg) and support structures must be designed accordingly.
  • To ensure adequate cooling, a minimum of 2 inches of clearance must be maintained between chargers.

Protection from rain, snow, and sun is essential for the safety of personnel and the longevity of the charger.

Chargers are heavy (9 lb [4 kg] ). Therefore, it is important that they be adequately supported, especially if more than one is mounted in the same location.

Chargers are designed to be mounted in several ways:

a). Hung from the handle
b). Mounted on a shelf or bracket that may be suspended from a ceiling joist or wall
c). Mounted to the floor
d). Mounted to walls using the keyhole slots provided.
